We photographed this sweet couple’s wedding 8 years ago! Now they have a baby on the way! We are so happy we got to see you while visiting Wisconsin. Congrats again!
We had a awesome time chasing the fog and exploring Tualitin Hills Nature Park with the Heister family. This was their first time getting family photos professionally taken… and they did great! Aaron & Syrenity are expecting their third child… a little baby girl who will be named Magnolia. The boys are very excited to meet their baby sister 🙂 We are happy that we got to capture these special moments for them, and we cannot wait to see their family grow!!
Recently we went back to Wisconsin to visit family, and to photograph some amazing families/couples. Since we moved to Portland, Oregon we have kept in touch with our old clients back in Wisconsin. Our clients have become close friends, and when they hear we are visiting they want to book a session.
During this session we took lifestyle photos of the Burroughs girls hanging out at home. We had lots of fun chasing the girls around the house while they played “photographer”, and ran around their backyard chasing their puppies Gunner, and Yukon.
Here is a review from our recent session with the Burroughs family: “There is no one out there like Ashley Nicole and Bryan! My husband and I fell in love with their work and decided we had to have them as wedding photographers – that was 3 1/2 years ago. Now I’m proud to say they are our engagement/wedding/anniversary/maternity/family photographers, and above all, our friends. They may have moved out of WI but I can’t bring myself to book with anyone else – I just wait for them to come home 🙂 Book them today!!! You won’t be disappointed. They are an amazing team with some serious talent, passion, dedication and drive. I can’t say enough. Thank you always, Alacrity.”
Below are photos of our dear friend Jami and her beautiful daughters Madilyn, and Abigial.
Also the girls were very excited to meet our baby boy Scout!
I have known Kat for just about 15 years now. She was there for me when Bryan and I got married. She has seen the best and worst of me. She was one of the first people we told that we were pregnant with Scout after waiting for 7 years.
Anyways she came to visit us here in Oregon.
Here is a little something she wanted me to say about this photo shoot we did at Hug Point Beach.
“I am a yoga teacher who found yoga when recovering from a serious eating disorder and now that I am recovering I hope to some day use it to help others the way it helped me.”
After following Karyn on instagram @girlofcardigan for awhile, and reading her wonderful blog about motherhood, Girl Of Cardigan. We felt a connection with this beautiful family, and knew we would love to be friends with them! When we were visiting Portland, Oregon this past October to check out places to live, we made plans to meet with Karyn, and little Fable. We met for breakfast at a wonderful bakery, in the Alberta district. We had lovely conversation, and they showed us all the cute little shops around the area, we had a great time!
After our big move we decided that we wanted to start focusing on photographing families. Don’t worry we will still photograph a few weddings a year! We love capturing the simple love between parents and their children…
Once we settled in to our new city, we reconnected with the Thurston family, and we went on a fun photo adventure 🙂
We walked thru Portland’s beautiful city park, called Mt. Tabor Park.
Karyn wearing her beautiful wrap by Lillie Baby, and the funny Fable making silly faces at the camera.
Karyn & Noel being silly & adorable as always…
After the park, we walked back to their house to enjoy a wonderful dinner. Noel & Karyn are quite the cooks! Noel is also wonderful Baker, as a gift he baked us some wonderful bread 🙂
After a delicious dinner we went out and took candid photos of Fable running around the yard playing, and singing.
Hanging out with backyard chickens!! So cute 🙂 We love the simple love between this adorable family!
During these sweet photos with Fable and her baby doll… Noel was dancing and singing “Winnie the Pooh” behind us, while we were taking photos. After the session we had that song stuck in our head for days!
Thank you to Karyn, Noel & little Fable for the awesome dinner & for letting us capture these sweet moments of your loving family. We hope for many more adventures in the future!
